Prana Danda Yoga
A unique practice using a pliable staff for alignment, balance, and flexible resistance. Your whole body will be invigorated in this exciting modality. We thank our teachers Dimitri Velasarius and Shiva Rea for developing and sharing this practice. It was inspired by traditional Indian martial artists of Kelara, India.

I have staffs and can share this practice at your studio or event. Training in this practice is included in the Kaya Mindful Movement Yoga Teacher Training.

Feel the power of alignment
The danda is a powerful tool to deepen your experience of many familiar asanas. Because we use our arms to move and bow the staff you will feel strong in new ways. The danda is a reflection of alignment that we strive for in our spine. You can become more aware of how to hold your body as you flow through poses.
